3-Days Tanzania Big Five Safaris

If you're short on time but want to see the Big 5, this is the safari for you. You'll explore three of the Northern Circuit's most popular parks: Tarangire, Manyara, and Ngorongoro.

Tarangire is home to huge baobab trees, elephants, lions, leopards, wild dogs, giraffes, and a variety of birds. Manyara is a smaller park with a diverse population of animals, including both migratory and resident birds. Ngorongoro is famous for its black rhinos, but you won't see any giraffes here.

This is a great opportunity to see some of Tanzania's most iconic wildlife in a short amount of time.

Day 1: Arrival – Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Meet your driver and transfer to Tulia Boutique Hotel in Arusha
Settle in and relax

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park
Enjoy a game drive in the park, home to elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and many other animals
Have lunch in the park
Drive to Flamingo Chem Chem Lodge

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park
Enjoy a game drive in the park, home to elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and many other animals
Have lunch in the park
Drive to Ngorongoro Crater
Check in to Rhino Lodge

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Departure

Enjoy a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, home to a wide variety of animals, including the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes)
Have lunch in the crater
Drive to Eileen's Trees Inn
Check in and relax
In the afternoon, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home
