Welcome to Ruaha National Park
Ruaha National Park is a Tanzanian national park located in the Iringa Region, about 650 kilometers (400 mi) west of Dar es Salaam. It is one of the largest national parks in Tanzania, covering an area of 15,000 square kilometers (5,800 sq mi). Climate
The climate in Ruaha National Park is hot and dry, with average temperatures ranging from 25 to 35 degrees Celsius (77 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit). The rainy season runs from November to April.
Getting there
Ruaha National Park can be reached by plane, car, or bus. The nearest major airport is the Iringa Airport, which is located about 100 kilometers (62 mi) from the park. The park can also be reached by car or bus from Dar es Salaam, which is a 12-hour drive.
